@DeathbringerShini Acupuncture needles don’t go that deep, they only put them in about 1/4 inch or less into the skin. Acupuncture can be used as local anesthesia too.
@ newcoyote. there is still much research being done. Mayo, Hopkins, Duke, U of Maryland, the AMA, NIH, WHO have all concluded that acupuncture works. Skepticism is all but gone, you may want to consider the building evidence. You asked for proof, I posted links to the published studies at my blog acfom to the blog spot to the dt com just for you. I’ve been in the field 10 years, and we have gotten some powerful allies over that time.
@ newcoyote, as an acupuncturist with over 10 years experience, I used to see a lot of this skepticism. Over that time, John Hopkins, Mayo Clinic, Duke University, the NIH, AMA, and WHO have all come out asserting that acupuncture works. You can remain skeptical, but the medical community is leaving you behind.
I tried to post links to studies, but youtube won’t let my post links. So I’m putting a post on my blog just for you. Search for skeptic at acfom(dot)blogspot(dot)com
